If states new old stock(NOS) it has come from a close down warehouse due to different climates in the environment over 20-40 vintage years old as can be seen in the pictures they still have age related vintage marks, need cleaning, re-dying, imperfections, scratches, chips, rust or need maintenance ECT although this should not affect performance.
