If you want an era correct BMX Products Mongoose BMX bike from the 1970's then here's your pad set! 40 years old all original as you can see from the patina and inside of the vinyl coverings.
Snaps all work fine and one snap was glued years ago but just need to be extra careful with it on the cross bar pad. The blue is it's original blue, no fading, perfect for that Motomag, Mongoose, Minigoose, Racer-X, Mitygoose, and/or Team Mongoose models. I'm just not a collector but have been involved with BMX since 1974 and still have my original 1974 Redline Squareback, BMX parts, papers/magazines, memorabilia, etc.
Raced until 1984 and coined The Torker Kid in 1978, Freestyler since the beginning (1979), opened my own bike shop in 1984 (JTFreestyle), traveled all over doing Freestyle shows, organized contests, designed my own products, and moved to California from Minnesota in the 80's to be a part of the scene. Always involved with BMX and fast forward to the early 2000's where I started building bikes and participating in the variety of forums and collector shows across the US.
I'm still racing BMX and now have our six year old daughter racing too! I've accumulated many items since 1974 and love them all! I'm a fanatic about BMX but there's only so much you can have and here's an opportunity to have a great BMX product for your bike and/or collection! I love to share the history of the sport through the products and if you have any questions please message me! Additional charge will be applied based on the final price. I always leave feedback after you received it/left feedback that way I know you are happy with your item(s). If there are any problems please contact me first.
