You are looking my original 1980s old school BMX Aero Race Plate. This is an original race plate from the old school era which has been made into an exact copy of the race plate used by Andy Ruffell in the second half of 1985, his year with Raleigh.

Starting with an original Aero plate, I used a mixture of original and exact copy decals to create the plate in exactly the same way as Andy did in'85. Andy used to modify and personalise his own race plates with various decals from sponsors and his own'Holeshot' promotions and leisure wear company. Please study all the accompanying pictures, taken outside in natural light, as they form part of the description. I don't mind taking a small loss but any low offers will be declined or ignored.

Altogether a fantastic plate which is an exact replica of Andy's late'85 plate. If you do have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Alternatively, you can collect the item from me in the North West, close to Jcn 22 M6.
