Old school bmx zrim hubs

  

This is a genuine matching pair of acs zrim hubs. I bought them new in 84. I put a coaster in the rear wheel and used the rear in another araya.

Years later i started to restore them. The front was easy, but the rear had got more use over the years and the paint had peeled. I got a very specialist engineer to remove the old damaged cups from the rear and press brand new cups in. He also made new dust covers for the bearings, he did an incredible job. I just masked the rear up and gave it a quick blast of white paint because they both need painting really. Or the rear could be given a coat of a more cream colour to match the original paint front hub. The front has the original decal. So all the main work is done. They are not new hubs but you rarely see Zrims with original hubs.
