Old School BMX Raleigh Team Mag Burner May 1986

  

Hi here is another one of my bikes. Old School Raleigh Burner Team Mag bmx. Some nice bits on this. This is a genuine Burner not a Styler.

It has the R stamped frame. It's had a paint job a while back by all accounts.

It's possibly a mag burner with twin tube styler bars, can not say for sure. I've cleaned the paint from the bottom bracket. Looking at the bottom bracket it was originally white underneath and that is after the original primer.

Has double top tube Bars with Range grips. And a period looking race. Apparently it has pro decals fitted. The bar one has peeling printing. Suguino spider and Suguino Chain Ring.

Suntour looking seat post clamp. Only has a rear brake and one brake lever.

Rear brake bridge looks plain and Unstamped but possibly filled with paint, can't say for sure. Gumwall Comp 3 style Duro Tires. I bought this bike off a lad in Worcester who told me it was a Ruffell.

He had two bikes all in bits, one was his brothers and they assembled this one as you see it here. May be put together with some wrong parts, may be not all correct. It is a used bike, not a show peice and it needs a little work. Several areas of paint have been touched up and brush painted. Was going to redue all the white but now need to move it along.
